Slag powder

When smelting pig iron in blast furnace, the molten material with calcium silicate and calcium aluminate as the main components is quenched and granulated, which is granulated blast furnace slag, referred to as slag. Its main chemical components are CaO, SiO2 and Al2O3, accounting for more than 90% of the total. In addition to forming a large amount of glass during water quenching, the slag also contains calcium, magnesium and aluminum plagioclase and a small amount of crystalline components such as calcium silicate or dicalcium silicate, so it has weak hydraulic properties. The activity of slag mainly depends on mineral composition and structure, and the activity of ground slag mainly depends on grinding degree. When fineness exceeds 400m2/kg, its activity can be fully played.
