Iron oxide blue

The main component of iron oxide blue is magnetite, and the chemical composition of magnetite is Fe3O4.xH2O, and the crystal belongs to the oxide mineral of equiaxed system. Dark blue or light blue powder with bright color, strong coloring power and slightly poor hiding power. The silty material is hard. Quality standard: coloring power 95~105%, oil absorption 15-30%, water content 1.0%, sieve residue (200 mesh sieve) ≤1.0%, water soluble substance 1.0%. Iron oxide blue has high tinting strength, good light resistance, poor alkali resistance and high heat resistance. When the temperature exceeds 150 degrees, it loses crystal water and begins to decompose. Uses: Making paints, inks, paintings, pigments and crayons, finishing lacquered cloth, lacquered paper, coloring plastic products, coloring building floors and floor tiles, etc.
